INSTALLATION NOTES FOR NOVICES
For those of you who are new to computers, installing a wallpaper on your desktop in a Windows PC environment is extremely easy. Just right click your desktop, choose properties; in the window that pops up choose desktop, then browse to the location where you downloaded the file and choose the appropriate one. You may then choose to stretch, tile or center the picture but we recommend the latter to avoid distortion. Keep in mind the resolution that you're using for your monitor, since these wallpapers are either 1600 X 1200 for high resolution or 1024 X 768 for standard resolution. In the same window where you changed your desktop you can click settings and change the resolution of your monitor and that's it.
For Apple Macintosh users is arguably easier, just choose System Preferences from your Apple menu, then desktop and choose the picture of want, choose fill the screen, stretch to fill the screen, center or tile; as before we recommend the center choice. Alternatively if using a double button mouse you may right click the desktop itself and choose Change Desktop Background. To change resolutions, from the same System Preferences, choose Display.
